Sometimes you have to wait a while for the emoticon to show up after the text.

I have treated myself to a few pieces of Bespaq when I can. I really like the hatstand and some of the display cabinets for shops with glass tops. I love the spindly shaped legs although they frighten me Very Happy I also really like some of the Glenowen furniture. I won a job lot on Ebay a couple of years ago and part of that was a lovely wicker bed for the gents room in my dolls house and some doors and side tables - a real bargain!

It's steam pressed to get the ornate carving.

There is also a company called Hanson that do Bespaq type furniture and is often confused and of less quality.

You have to be very careful when purchasing that you get the legitimate item.

it's the chinese manufacturer Jean. They make a range of stuff that is very ornate with lots of carvings etc and some of it is hand painted. If you put in Bespaq on Ebay lots of stuff will come up.

Between you, me and the gatepost the quality of some of the pieces is debatable...but it's quite expensive. The bed had a price tag on it of 130 USD but a couple of the little bits had come off and been glued back on and the fabric used was a sort of shiny polyester.

Just to show my ignorance - is Bespaq a trade/brand name or a certain type:?:

Funny isn't it? I sent the photos through to the client and made it clear that if she didn't like the throw I could easily change it for an ivory silk one or remove it. She loves the bed but has asked for the ivory throw and I'm so glad because it was really bugging me. I must learn to go with my heart Very Happy
