Thanks Jax Smile

The flooring was out of a dolls house magazine.

The card radio was given a coat of varnish to give it a bit of strength and yes, I did the knitting.

Very atmospheric Jean. Very Happy

Where did you find that flooring?
You wouldn't know that the radio is a printie. It's very realistic.
Did you do the knitting?

I know Janine has seen this on my blog but I thought I would put it here because I've not been very productive lately and I've made an effort with this for our club challenge.

We were each given a chair and asked to either dress it or use it in some sort of scene.

I've been wanting to do something from WW2 'Homefront' for quite a while now so I took the opportunity to make a room corner. There's black out curtains behind the checked ones and taped windows. A Warden's hat and coat. Make do and mend books and wartime cookery books were printed out. A cardboard printi radio on the shelf and a box ready to carry to the air-raid shelter.
